How to get fitted for Contact Lenses in Richmond

Insightful Eye Care Contact Lens Fitting

Step 1: Understand Your Eyes & Lifestyle

We start by getting to know your eyes, your vision needs, and your daily routine, whether it’s work, sport, or screen time.

Step 2: Find the Right Lens for You

Based on your eyes, we select lenses designed to suit you. This could include options for astigmatism, dry eyes, or multifocal vision.

Step 3: Try Them On & Learn How to Use Them

We show you exactly how to put them in, take them out, and care for them, step by step (it's easier than you think!). Experience the lenses in practice to see the difference they make.

Step 4: Trial Them in your Everyday Life

You'll try the lenses when out in your daily life, experiencing the comfort and clarity for yourself.

Step 5: Aftercare & Fine-Tuning

One final appointment will make sure everything feels right and make any small adjustments if needed. After that, you'll receive your contact lens prescription.

Are contact lenses comfortable to wear?

Yes, modern contact lenses are designed to be very comfortable, and most people adjust quickly. In fact, many patients are surprised at how natural they feel after just a short time wearing them. Soft lenses in particular are made to allow oxygen through to the eye, which helps maintain comfort throughout the day.
